The first Carlo Pignatelli shoes and accessories showroom recently opened in Milan. The space is located in Viale Pasubio 6, in the central fashion district, and it is dominated by essential tones as white and grey but pervaded by a light Baroque vein. The items of the collections here are presented as little art pieces, in an environment suitable to the maison's contents as quality, research and aesthetic sense. Next July Carlo Pignatelli shoes and accessories store will open always in Viale Pasubio.

Carlo Pignatelli once again supports the collaboration between fashion and movies, his big passion. Carlo Pignatelli Outside suits have been worn by the international actor Amr Waked, co-star with Alessandro Gassman in the movie "Il padre e lo straniero", an Ager 3 and Rai Cinema production. It is a contemporary thriller directed by Ricky Tognazzi and out in theaters from 18th of February 2011. The movie deals with social topics as the relationships between fathers and handicapped children and cultural differences. The collaboration begins thanks to the contact between the designer and the costume designer Lina Nerli Taviani (twice silver ribbon for Best Costume Design) and Alessandra Toesca.

The 25th edition of Goya Awards ceremony took place last February in Madrid. Finally the images of the winner of nine awards, the director Augusti Villaronga, in a total look signed by Carlo Pignatelli.

The young promising Italian musician Raphael Gualazzi ranked second place at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, the European song festival. On this important occasion Raphael chose to wear the style and the elegance of Carlo Pignatelli.

Last 17th of June the designer, special guest at Sì Sposaitalia exhibition, presented his new Cerimonia collections with an exclusive fashion show. Models with a regal and refined appeal charmed all the crowded audience.

On the occasion of his wedding with the showgirl Alena Seredova, the Juventus goalkeeper wore a very elegant black suit by Carlo Pignatelli. The designer also signed the look of their two children.

Carlo Pignatelli debuts in South Africa opening a 170 square metres boutiqe in the most exclusive hearth of Johannesburg, the prestigious departement store Sandton City Shopping Centre. The elegant space hosts the exclusive collections of the maison and reflects the creative concept of all its international stores but readjusted to be harmonious with surroundings. An imporant challenge that is part of an expansionist plan toward new markets in order to develop the global stylish project signed by Carlo Pignatelli.

Carlo Pignatelli gets back to his love for football and for the team of his town, Juventus FC, by signing its 2011/12 official uniforms as official supplier. As a matter of facts 15 years ago the designer has been the first to experiment the lucky union between fashion and football. The partnership between the team today coached by Antonio Conte and the elegance of Carlo Pignatelli runs along many years with great successes: from 1995 to 1998, from 2000 to 2002 and from 2003 to 2006 the team won one Intercontinental Cup, one Champions League, one European Super Cup, five Italian Championships and two Super Cups wearing the suits signed by the “maison” from Turin. The new Juventus formal uniform – composed by suit, coat and raincoat, in a sophisticated midnight blue – is inspired by English colleges outfits: the tapered trousers with turn-up and the jacket with tight revers embody on the one hand the British style, on the other hand the Italian tailoring. Last Saturday 12th of November the wonderful spot La Reggia di Venaria near Turin hosted the XVII edition of the Gran Ballo "Vienna sul Lago". Twenty young girls coming from all parts of Italy and accompanied by the cadets of Livorno Naval Academy, have been the protagonists of the event. Very beautiful and elegant they wore the models that Carlo Pignatelli created expressly to make unforgettable the night of their debut.
